Why does Carnival Cruise Lines continue to make iced tea out a coffee maker? It tastes like COFFEE...NASTY.?

I have been on a few Carnival Cruises, and every time I go I have to find something other than iced tea to drink because they make their iced tea with the same coffee makers as they do their coffee. Some people on the cruise that I met say the tea tastes bad and they don't know why. Others know it is because you can't make a pot of coffee and then make a pot of tea without it blending. I have written that on my comment card every time I have gone, and it has done no good. Should I take a different cruise line over something this pity? If so, which cruise line has great iced tea? (recovering alcoholic, so yes it's that important)

I have not had this problem on Carnival.  I drink iced tea almost exclusively, and it has always been fine for me.

Tea drinkers know that you can't drink tea out of coffee cups, coffee makers, etc. It always tastes like coffee. Coffee drinkers don't notice it for some reason. The only thing I can suggest is to ask for hot tea, then ice it.
