  1. It dousnt. The company that makes the club soda that you have chose to have it koshered.

  2. all kosher drinks have it

  3. It isnt that it NEEDS to be but some companies make it kosher in order to appeal to the kosher observing Jewish person.

Kosher laws include not combining certain ingredients and come club soda include an ingredient that is not considered kosher.  YES there is more than water and bubbles in club soda lol.

  4. itsnot that it is or isnt kosher.  its just advertising that if your celebrating passover strictly, its okay to drink seltzer.  its sometimes confusing wut foods are okay to eat on passover, so they just advertise that its kosher for passover so people will buy it.

  5. As said marketing tech.

Dancer you dumb atheist.  There are 613 commandments.  Plenty to keep you busy if you could read.

  6. It is a marketing technique to attract a specific  segment of the consumer market. That is all.

Same as  the 10 commandements, why are they 10 and not 9 or 11?. Easy to sell.

    Edit:

JD, It is hard for me to thumb you down, so I sent it to you  by mail

    lol

  7. As others have said, it doesn't have to be. Kosher certification always comes out of a company's marketing budget, not the production budget. As the real hardcore Jews won't drink anything processed unless it has been certified, the company views their business as being worth more than the cost of the certification.

  8. To wash down the kosher crackers

  9. It is because of the flavoring only as plain club sodas are kosher (at least in America they are.)

I use plain club soda in my kosher wine  So the difference between your marked bottle and my unmarked bottle could be added flavoring.

I am of understanding that all bottled major brand soft drinks also (Coke, Pepsi, 7-up) are Kosher even though not marked. I checked the list again and link is provided. In the US, club soda is kosher even without certification mark on label (or cap) if it is plain. If it is flavored then the flavoring needs to be certified.

It is not that any product needs to be Kosher it is just that many people will not purchase the product. The only reason I purchase this product is because I understand it to be Kosher (I checked before purchasing along time ago) as I mix it with my Kosher wine sometimes.I used to mix it with 7-up but that is still too sweet so I switched to club soda. When at the supermarket and a new item comes out, and it isn't certified, I do not purchase it. So it doesn't need to be certified, but if they want to sell it to  me (and consumers like me) they need to to show me it's kosher so I will purchase it.

  10. everything a Jewish person puts in his /her mouth (well except medicine but it still has to have kosher ingredients)has to be watched by a rabbi to make sure its kosher some stuff are kosher but the company doesn't want to hire a rabbi to watch over it because its a lot of money
