Why does Collin Delaney deserve to get beat up all the time on Raw?

Delaney was brought into the federation as an underdog for ECW, and Armando Estrada decided that it'd be funny to make Delaney work for his spot.  After a long bout of fluke victories, Estrada made a match to make sure that Delaney wouldn't be able to secure his contract and immediately be fired.

Tommy Dreamer saved him and his job, though, and became his mentor.  He and Dreamer would team up from then on, especially after Theodore Long (who took Estrada's position as ECW GM) told Estrada that he would have to do the same grueling tests that Delaney had to do.

Estrada's last test was against Tommy Dreamer himself, in an ECW Rules match.  Dreamer was about to win, and Delaney came out distracting Dreamer enough that Estrada won and cemented his contract...

Delaney had turned on his own mentor to save the job of the jerk who wanted to get him fired.  Therefore Delaney is being punished for his stupid move.
