Why does Corporate America HYPE with "feel-good" words?

The failed Yahoo takeover by Microsoft caused this statement to be said by Microsoft:

"We have a talented team in place and a compelling plan to grow our business through innovative new services and strategic transactions with other business partners," Ballmer said. "While Yahoo would have accelerated our strategy, I am confident that we can continue to move forward toward our goals."

Everyone knows he is NOT "confident." Microsoft had forever to turn around their search engine portal and have failed miserably. They are a complete joke in the Internet world and only thing going for them is the IE Browser. Although almost every computer is sold with MSN users never select it as their default engine. Even AOL's search engine gets almost as many hits as MSN.

these american companies get away with this because the majority of americans are quite mentally challenged, this is not their fault as the education system put in place by the gov is sub standard
