Why does DMV make you take another vision test, photo,and fingerprints when you renew your license

cause your eyesight might have changed, you might look different, and as a formality

Because vision can get progressivly worse. And I don't know about you, but most people start looking different as they get older. It wouldn't make sense for your picture to be of you when you were 18, and you're 35 now would it?

Fingerprints don't change. Vision and appearance do. So, yes. You must have another vision test and they'll take a new photo. Smile!
