Each rapper has a call sign that is only distinguishable to them.

Check the list:

Master P = Uhhhn!!

DMX= Arf!!

Bird-man= Pigeon sound

Flavor Flav= Yeahhh Boy!!

etc...

As you can see these dudes have a call that you know who it is. It's a sort of gimmick that separates them from other artists.
