  1. I thought the same thing on Canada day when we went and got one lol I guess it's to prove that they are thick!

  2. So you can see that it's very thick.

  3. It's meant to confuse you.  They use slight of hand and then add laxatives into it.

  4. WHAT!!! They do???

  5. to prove that the ice cream is thick enough that it won't drip

  6. its just to prove that they are so thick. its a tradition thing. they have been doing it for forever!

  7. i know!! i wonder that too!!

  8. I used to work for Dairy Queen, way back in the day, and the reason they do that is to prove that, like the original marketing said, it's not just milk and soft serve. They stick a spoon in the blizzard, flip it upside down, and if the spoon stays in position, it means the blizzard is properly made. If it slips out, or the ice cream falls to the ground, it means that the soft serve is not ready for consumption. It's basically a way to prove to customers that they're getting the best product for the best money. (At least, that's what I was told!)

  9. i always wondered that too!

  10. To show you how thick they are.

  11. I dont care as long as I get to eat the blizzard!!!!
