I dont think he would have any real success. His striking wouldnt even be the best in MMA. Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida, and a healthy Maurico Rua are better stand-up fighters than Haye and i wouldnt be at all suprised if guys like Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Wanderlei Silva or Quinton Jackson dominate David Haye in a standing MMA fight. Alot of defensive boxing tatics are usless or hazardous in MMA. Like the bobing and weaving. Alessio Sakara an Italian boxing champ did that in a UFC fight and he got KOed.

All they would do his have him fight boxers in MMA style fights where he would easily then they would make him fight guys that are pretty good like Forrest Griffin. I think Forrest would dominate David Haye and win by 1st round tko.

  2. when did he say he wanted to go into mma. i never heard him say this.i doubt it would happen.he has got big plans at heavyweight

  3. maybe Haye is a closet g*y?

  4. I have never heard this, you have a link or something? He has big plans going up to Heavyweight. If he fights Klitschko I'm sure his plans will stop right there but I doubt he is thinking he is going to leave.  You are mistake about the bob and weaving thing, head movement is a crucial aspect of fighting both boxing and MMA. Kimbo possesses this talent, much like Tyson did.  I don't think you can say those fighters have a better stand up game then Haye. A boxer has a much better chance of going into MMA over a short period of time, then a MMA person has going into boxing.  Boxing is the sweet science, MMA is awesome but I could start training for MMA and be in a decent match within 6 months.
