Why does Digorno frozen pizza taste freezer burnt?

It shouldn't.  DiGiorno's is normally a pretty good frozen pizza.  Either you were sold a very old pizza, the sealed plastic wrap came loose, or the supermarket's freezers lost power, the pizzas thawed and were refrozen.  BTW, if that happened, they're not supposed to sell frozen items that were thawed.

Does not have good flavor or taste to it at all.  Many look like they have been in freezer way too long.  Maybe the product is old. Always check container dates.
