Why does ESPN do a rookie coverage for Michael Beasely, No.2 pick, but not Derrick Rose, the No.1 pick?

  1. They're smart enough to know that Beasly is going to be better than Rose, rookie year and throughout their careers. Besides, Beasly's more fun to cover anyway. He's a fun loving guy.


  2. just because somebody was picked as the #1 pick doesn't mean that they were the best player in the draft. I think that beasley will be putting up bigger numbers faster than rose would

  3. Beasley has alot of "upside". He is a good player with alot of potential. I was honestly hoping that the Bulls would take Beasley and not Rose because the Bulls already have a good PG in Hinrich, but now that Gordon is talking about going to play in Europe, I think that the choice of Rose may help fill the void at SG.

  6. idk probably because they feel Beasley is the better player which i agree with..even if they had approached Rose about doing this i think he'd decline because he seems like a really shy guy..in front of the cameras at least..
