Question:

Why does England use miles, but litres, Celsius etc.... are you metric or not?

Metric is far simpler... zero degrees is freezing point, 10 mm in a centre metre etc

  2. We use a mish  mash of both. Don't know why though.

    I thought kilometres were used?

  6. Born and raised here in the UK...48 years and still trying to answer that question, probably some top secret goverment super -plan to keep us all in a  permanent state of confusion !! :o)
