Why does Firefox Back Button always returns to top of page in new MyYahoo - worked fine in old MyYahoo.?

In the old MyYahoo, when you clicked a link that took you off the MyYahoo page and then clicked the back button on the browser you were returned to the same place on the MyYahoo page. Now I am always brought back to the top of the page. This work in Firefox and IE with the old MyYahoo page. With the new MyYahoo page it only works in IE and I only use Firefox. Anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve it? Thank you.

This has been a long standing issue with various versions of Firefox. I have run this up the flagpole before without getting an answer. Really aggravating that it occurs as well as the lack of a response from the yahoo help team.-- The quick and dirty fix is to use your right mouse button on your mouse or touchpad and open in a new tab. It keeps your spot and you close the tab when finished.
