the kind of radio content I want? I like Art Bell/George Noory typed radio shows. Why aren't there more of those kinds, besides Jeff Rense? Sean Hannity and Rush makes their money slamming people they don't like. I do like Michael Savage, though I don't agree with everything he says, I can't help but tune in to hear what outrageous thing he says next. Also, why is it that when you're listening to AM Radio, the programs normally come in very clear, but when the news comes on, the RF, or ERP seems to drop and you can barely hear the news; though it's Fox News Radio anyway, and who wants to listen to them?

  1. It's strictly free enterprise. If a guy can sell ad space and get a good market share, they don't care if he reads kids stories about "Fuzzy Bunny and the Magic Carrot". Air America tanked because not enough people listened to it to sell profitable ads. They slammed plenty of people they didn't like. Michael Savage is very popular with some (I catch him sometimes) but still doesn't pull them in like Hannity, Rush or Beck. He is also a bit coarser. Art Bell/George Noory is/are a bit off-beat and a little uneven for prime time. They do well with the all-night truckers.
