Why does Gamecube action replay not work on my Wii.?

Is there an update that doesn't allow it? Is there a form of homebrew that I can use instead? For gamecube games, not wii.

  1. its made for the cube not the wii


  2. It should work on the Wii, I mean, there is no reason for them to block it, cheating on games is legal, it's only illegal if it's an online game, and the only online GC game is Phantasy Star Online, and I am not sure if there are cheats for that anyway

    Maybe it allowed access to loading backup copies or something
