i figure if Favre wanted more time he would have not have faxed his letter of reinstatement, i think it's the Packers that need more time , so Goodell needs to stop acting like he is giving Favre more time , everyone knows when Favre is reinstated he will be at training camp that day

  1. Well like the 1st answer said Favre really needs to know what is he gonna take, and if he takes the money and gets reinstated, then it would be a waste.

  2. Yes,

  3. While Goodell might be overstepping his bounds IMHO to telling both sides to make a decision, he's giving them time to work it out themselves.  As long as both sides are talking, Goodell is willing to let the process go.  If talks break down, then Goodell acts and reinstates Favre.

  4. Apparently Favre is seriously considering taking the Packers' offer. It would be a moot point for Goodell to reinstate him if Favre chooses to stay retired. Let's face it, how would it look if Goodell reinstated Favre on Friday only to have Favre say "Thanks anyway, Commish, but I'm taking the money."?

  5. nope that is not what he said. He said he was waiting to reinstate Favre because he was giving THEM as in Favre AND Packers to work things out. Dont believe me watch the HOF interview he did tonight.

and your question makes no sense. If they are still negotiating as in both parties then they both are giving the same about of time.
