Question:

Why does HD programming on my Time Warner Cable service look like blocky, low quality YouTube videos?

As long as the picture is static, everything looks good. As soon as there's action, the picture explodes into a chunky, blocky, pixelated, low-resolution mess. It looks terrible.

I know it's not my HDTV, and my eyesight is good. No, it's Time Warner Cable. What could they possibly be doing wrong?

  1. It maybe because your whole block that has CABLE TV as there provider you are sharing the same sou res of signal .what cable company's do is that they use one line for CABLE,PHONE,& INTERNET servics for ever block so by time it gets to your TV the signal is weak !

That's why some home's go with satellite HD you will never share your signal with anyone on your block and get better pixelated, and better HD

  2. They could be compressing the video too much, or you may be using a cheap HDMI cable with LOW bandpass design....

Have you tried it, using the COMPONENT cabling insead??
