Why does HDTV stop right in the middle of a program for sometimes minutes at a time?

It's very aggravating. And SOMETIMES all of the channels go off at the same time! What causes that? We are on Comcast by the way. Does that make a difference, or do all cable companies do that at one time or another?

Loss of signal. It could be your location.

That's very unusual. Sounds like a major Comcast problem. Call them up and get it fixed. As much money as you're probably forking over to Comcast, there's no excuse for that.
