Why does IE freeze when I open a pop up link?

It works fine until I click a link that opens a new page or tab. Can't right click and open in new tab either as that also causes a freeze. Any ideas?

  1. Your IE is corrupt. You most likely have spyware. I'd suggest downloading Mozilla Firefox. It's better than IE.

  2. That's what l did l switched to firefox. It's got a lot more cool features addon's etc. And then l found Malwarebytes from ms. Google, remove malware  and you will find the download. Let it install and custom scan internet explorer. My l E was highjacked and it found the Trogens ??? that was the shr**ing thinks up. Delete them all !!! Frigin bugs.

  3. It's IE's way of telling you how it sucks and urges you to switch to Mozilla Firefox.  The Windows corporation secretly implanted this, btw.  IE IS ALL A CONSPIRACY!

Hmmm... maybe your memory is being hogged up by another program? Try exiting out of memory hogging programs, such as Itunes, Digsby, MSN Messenger, etc, and retrying.  You can also right click your task bar and click "Task Manager" and end processes from there on.

  4. yeah. that is really a problem..

    try cleaning your history.

    update your browser.

but i recommend you to use,

    -safari

    -mozilla firefox

    they are much faster.
