Why does Indoor Temperature feel different depending on Outdoor Temperature?

For Instance I have my Air Conditioner set on 72, and it is 90 outside then the house feels comfortable, even if I haven't been outside for a long time it still feels good inside. Now if the temperature outside drops to say 65 then I notice the inside temperature of 72 now feels too warm. All of this can happen without me even knowing the temperature has changed or having gone outside for some time. It's almost like a 6th sense that I notice and then I check and sure enough the temperature outside went down. Is there any scientific explanation for this?

  1. Its the human body's natural reaction to temperature. I don't know a lot about it, since I'm not a medical professional or anything close to that. However, I do know that happens all of the time. If you really want to know why this happens, ask a physician or someone like that.
