Why does Internet Explorer7 no longer save the history of pages visited?

It used to work fine but in the past week it quit working on both my XP machines.

Well, if you go to the favorites button or the little yellow star at the left hand corner and click on it, there should be a little tab that says - history- . Hoped this helped.
