  1. straight vodka is pure achohol, kills all the germs.


  2. Vodka is essentially alcohol, so it would act as a disinfectant. Would it "totally kill infection"? Not necessarily, but it would do a better job than doing nothing to it.

    Why does Jason Bourne do it?  Well, it looks real intense and all serious and tough... and it's a MOVIE.

  3. Vodka will not totally kill the infection, but because of the 30% alcohol volume or more in vodka some bacteria etc. will be killed off and the injury subdued some.
