In the past, Joseph Biden, asserted that he had a higher IQ than a C-SPAN reporter. When asked about his law school record, Biden looked at the questionnaire and said, "I think I have a much higher I.Q. than you do." Then he went on to say that he ''went to law school on a full academic scholarship - the only one in my class to have a full academic scholarship ... he ''ended up in the top half'' of his class and won a prize in an international moot court competition ... he was ''the outstanding student in the political science department'' and ''graduated with three degrees from college.'' All of which turned out to be untrue.

  1. He has many Prozac moments but is taking new medication now, that makes him very happy , happy to run off at the mouth that is!

  2. I wish I could answer that.  Unfortunately, it only makes me lack trust in him.

  3. And why are you assuming that he exaggerates only when angered.  He was perfectly calm when he said he was shot at inside the "green zone" in Iraq.  If it would have been Kerry he would have put in for a purple heart and if it was Gore he would have said the sky was falling and demanded Iraq start buying carbon credits from him.

  4. A typical weakling who worked his whole life to embellish (plagiarize) his checked education and his bizarre, narcissistic, condescending character,

  5. That is a natural reaction for him.

Bill and Hillary are known to throw things when they get mad.

But, Hillary lied about being shot at in Bosnia even though she was not mad.  So, people differ in what makes them lie and how they react to anger.

  6. Exaggerate?  More like wildly deluded.  This is why he was selected.  This nut has peeled off so many gaffs, they can't be sorted out.  They just keep coming.  One worse than the last.  It will become a matter of degree.  A Biden gaff is no longer news, it's the norm.  He will become obscure and irrelevant, just like a Democrat VP should be.  Even a twink like O'bama will look intellectually disciplined by contrast.

It will be Biden's job to keep the press busy with appearances on all the Sunday morning roasts.  Biden will walk in with his foot already in his mouth.  Obama will distance himself by saying that Biden is very emotional about setting this nation on a new course to socialism and sometimes over does it.

  7. Republicans continue to follow Karl Rove's advise "Lie more - something will stick", BWT Karl Rove  borrowed this tactics from the n**i's 1933 election strategy.

  8.   He allows his emotions to take control of him and forgets the truth.

  9. I don't think he does. Is that worse than calling your wife a cvnt when angered like McSame does?

  10. Is this the same as screaming at your collegues on the Senate floor or calling your wife disgusting names in front of reporters.....

  11. My guess is, that as a politician, he's figured out that he has a lousy poker face.  So, why try to hide it?  Instead, blow it out of proportion to the point that people will forget what it was that got him so riled.  Hitler used to do that...

  12. If you think that's good, wait till Joe and Michelle have a disagreement. That's probably going to happen this weekend in Colorado. Throw Hilllary in the mix, and this could go nuclear. I wish I had tickets.

  13. I think its an old guy thing, I've got a habit of embellishing my record too, especially about explaining old injuries to nurses half my age at all the doctor's offices, clinics, and hospitals I go to.

You want to hear exaggeration, just go to the VFW or Legion and go sit with the old guys, maybe they forgot the truth and believe their own stories, maybe its just because the stories are more interesting.

Its not just guys either, remember Hillary and her sniper fire?

  14. The example you give - demeaning the intelligence of the reporter - is not just an example of exaggeration, it is an example of an ad hominem attack - attacking the person asking the question, rather than answering the question.  This is generally a sign of low self esteem.  It is also a symptom of the more serious disorder known as narcissism.  The exaggerations are also symptomatic of the same kinds of mental illness.

  15. Blasted ego of prominent people, politicians included, is forever underneath this kind of boisterous talk.

FDR and Reagan, two beloved Presidents, were famous for "fish tales" concerning their own lives to staffers and reporters.

Is it a character flaw or wanting to live larger than life?  Probably both!
