  1. No Way

  2. Because he still caucuses with them, and he owes them his committee chairmanships.

Basically, he's living it up while he can, because they may well kick him out of those positions if they get a big enough majority in November!

It also plays well on TV to have a member of the opposition party supporting your candidate against his own.  Zell Miller railed against John Kerry at the Republican Convention in 2004, if I recall.

  3. Maybe he is trying to keep his lush Senate office in the Democrat wing of the capital.

If I were Harry Reid, I would have had his office and belongings packed up last night and placed in the hallway and changed the locks to the door.  Then told Lieberman aids that Joe could go find an office down with the soddomites in the general population, or in other words, the Republican wing of the capital.

That kind of treason should not go unpunished.

  4. because he still votes with them on most issues, (except defunding our troops and declaring our military a failure). Without his vote the Dems wouldn't have a majority vote in the senate
