Question:

Why does John Mccain talk about war too often?

He doesn't really focus on other key issues.

Does he know? Hmm not sure.

Like Obama said(which is my opinion also) "Its not that he doesn't care about issues of Americans, its that he doesn't Know." I don't think that's the exact quote, but whatever.

If he focuses on war too much, the world will keep on going like how it is! Why can't people understand that war is ruining America. and tearing up innocent people of Iraq. Where's the compassion guys?

My ideal president is John Kennedy & Bill Clinton.

Like my parents are struggling with jobs, as Barack Obama pointed out "When Bill Clinton was in the house, middle class families made more .. until Bush came into the house." again, not exact quote.

It seems as if republicans like George Bush and John Mccain don't know about those key issues of struggling Americans and families with deep turmoil. I think its because they haven't lived it, or felt it. That's my opinion. That's probably why they don't say too much about the poor and middle class Americans that are on the verge of losing there homes. Maybe because Barack Obama lived those kind of things - he understands , and he wants to change America - and help it.

Opinions?!

  1. War is all John McCain knows. its his only way to solve any problem

  2. You clearly aren't educated.  That is a huge issue people want to hear, so he is giving it to them... AND, I think you're a bunch of nonsense. My brother is fighting, and he says that if we pull out, they WILL retaliate and come over here. Why is it that another countries democracy means nothing to you? WE HAVE MADE IRAQ A DEMOCRACY! That is amazing! Women and children run up to out troops, hugging them, kissing them, and bringing them feasts every Sunday to thank them for their service. Oh yes, we also have found all of the parts to build WMD. There is no way we can pull out of Afghanistan. The Taliban is still a huge problem, and we CAN'T leave. But Iraq is doing great. We are at that point where we aren't sending AS MANY American troops over. Eventually, they will all be

  3. Yeah, well, read below:

    This is the simplest, most understandable explanation of the woes of the nation and who caused them, as well as how to cure them. This should be sent to every person in the U.S., including the '545'.

    545 People

    By Charlie Reese --

    Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?

    You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

    You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy, The Federal Reserve Bank does.

    One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 300 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

    I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered but private central bank.

    I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

    Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

    What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.

    The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.

    Who is the speaker of the House? She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

    It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts - of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.

    When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

    If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

    If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

    If the Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ.

    If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

    There are no insoluble government problems.

    Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.

    Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like 'the economy,' 'inflation' or 'politics' that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

    Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power. They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses - provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

    We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

    In Just About Two years - - -

    This email comes in three parts:

    Part 1

    Remember the election in 2006? Thought you might like to read the following:

    A little over one year ago:

    1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

    2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

    3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

    Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

    1) Consumer confidence plummet;

    2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;

    3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);

    4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion

  4. You say that the war is "tearing up innocent people of Iraq"...where do you get this information?  Do you know someone in the military that has been there?  Have you been there? Or, do you get all of your information from the liberally biased media?  As a military member I can tell you, the people of Iraq love us, we have liberated them, we are helping them to learn to protect themselves and to be free to think for themselves.  There are obviously small factions that do not welcome us interfering with their hostile government takeovers.  But again that is a small faction.

    Also you say this war is "ruining America".  How so?  By making sure that we are keeping terrorist in hiding so that we do not have to bury another 2,752 innocent Americans in one day.  By keeping the fight out of our country and in the country of the offenders?  Or is it because the UN and the democrats of today do not have the stomach to do what it takes to keep people safe?

    McCain has many issues that he discusses besides War.  But g*y-rights and abortion don't mean anything if we are nuked now do they?

    And what about his stance on oil independence (which will keep more money in the country), or health care?

    And I agree Obama wants tremendous change.  He would like to turn us into a communist/socialist society.  He would like to knock us out of our super-power status from within.

    Why are your parents struggling with jobs?  Are they uneducated, un-willing to work?  You cannot blame the government or think that the president will help them with their job.  All it will do is take money away from the people that hold a job and work hard and give it to people who cannot be bothered.  And if your parents do work they will be paying for the guy on the street corner.  Either way you look at it the only one to win is the person who cannot be bothered to do anything for himself.

    Just so you know, Obama plans to increase taxes, which means that if you work or your parents work they will have less money from each paycheck.  Don't believe me?  Look at history, Democrats always raise taxes (FOR EVERYONE).

    I hope that you can research information on your own, do not rely on anything the media tells you.  They are biased.  If on the other hand you choose to be so naive as to just listen blindly, I ask that you please stay home on Nov. 4.

    Thank you.

  5. I think you need an economics lessen about the 1990s- the ups and downs (the part you all hate to talk about) had little to do with Bill Clinton.

    McCain, though not my ideal, knows more about policy than Obama. Obama relies on emotions which is a successful recipe according to studies (emotion overrides intellect) but it isnt what we need.

    The war is the most important issue regardless of how we feel about it. Failing to see this war through has many negative consequences for this nation iand the world in both the short and long term.

    I think we are failing our society because we do not teach the lessens of history as we should. We also do not teach economics for the most part. People are left to make emotion driven decisions rather than decisions based on historical facts.

  6. His grand father was a warrior, so was his father and so is he. What else can he talk about? he is not the brightest bear

  7. Angels, I give kudos to Vets but I think its a sour thing to use vet staus to make other people feel inferior or say thing like " its because of us that you..."  because its not just you...Its because of everyone on all sides that we all.... You know, some nations dont even get to have militaries. The people have to protect themselves. Many Americans have served in the nation and the community in different ways. Its not all because of you.....Its you, the people who pay taxes to fund wars, the people who work in communities to keep peace here acting against gangs and voilence, our ploice, fire fiighters, the people who educate, the people who build those jets, the people who carry the mail, the people who stood up to this nations own slavery and discrimintaion, people who travel abroad to feed hunger, nurse our army and sick children abroad, people who have worked abroad educating, and building overseas,... I appriciate the Vets and those who are still serving ... You have contributed in a huge way but before all, it is a personal choice. wether she makes it or not is not for you to belittle and say she isnt brave enough....that is unfair and it discredits so many other efforts that make the world and our Nation a better place.

  8. Sounds like we just need a few facts and not DNC talking points

    According to USA Today the Census Bureau the number of people without health insurance shrunk in 2007 and incomes rose in 2007. Income inequality even shrank. The number of people in the middle class decreased not because people fell out of the middle class but because people grew out of the middle class. Wow how can that be?

    Then according to Reuters - Strong exports and consumer spending supported by government stimulus checks drove the U.S. economy up at a solid 3.3 percent annual rate in the second quarter, much faster than first thought.

  9. Shut up.  Why does Obama keep screeching hope and change but hasn't given any die-hard proof of it--other than turning our country into something like n**i Germany.

  10. He's a warmonger. He just wants all of us to die, and take everyone with us. Nuke nut. Everyone knows it. That's why he wears that helmet all the time and carries a rifle around when he's at home. I caught him in my yard once rigging a bomb to my back gate. That's why I'm voting for Obama. He says, even if we're attacked, he's going to ask the attacker to stop it. Thanks for bringing up the subject. Where's my sandwich?! Seriously though. Is there anyway you can just step outside of your dogma momentarily and just see your biases and prejudices? You're so sure of everything.
