  1. Josh is a Stanford dude so he is a brainiac that probably want to be all sophisticated like the europeans.

  2. 20 Mil $$$ !

  3. More money and more self-recognition. Probably the face of the Greek franchise.

  4. I think it's a little silly, but he probably wants the money. He's playing for the team that's a runner up for the championship from last year so he probably wants to win too. This way he gets the money and wins.

I hear his contract is worth $20 million.

  5. More money.

  6. I don't think it is the money. An NBA team would have given him just as much. It's the chance to go live in Europe. They have things right over there. The US isn't that great of a place to live anymore.

  7. More money, low cost of living

and a better over-all way of life.

  8. Because he gets $20 million and they will pay for his house, food, plane ticket, and with all that the 20 million that they will pay him!

  9. more money

  10. More $$$$$$$$$

  11. They offered him a better deal then the Hawks.  I would have done the same if I was him.  His contract is for $20mils but he doesn't have to pay tax on it so it's a far better deal then the Hawks gave him for 5 yrs $33mils.

  12. He is making more money. Also, he can be the star of the team instead of being a role player like he is with the Hawks.

  13. The Hawks messed up, they just lost one of their best bench players (and probably thier only good bench player)

But it is a pretty good deal, I mean 20 mill for 3 years, and they pay for everything while he is thier,

And he can also come back to the NBA when he wants

    So for him its great

For the hawks not soo much, but they can make this positve by using the cap space that they now have to go and sign another player to relace J-CHill.

    I'll miss him though =(

I dont know man...This was a prettty bad blow to the Hawks

  15. he is just making more money over there but I do not agree. playing in the NBA should be about proving your skill level. The Hawks though would've probably only offered 2.5 to 2.9 mil per season and he got way more than that in Greece

  16. everyone is right, more money.

"The deal is the most lucrative current contract in European basketball and the biggest in Euroleague history."

  17. It is actually 35million euros3 years plus he pays no tax, it would be around 12mil us $ a year or more. I think he will become a superstar for sure in Greece, he is a very skilled and talented player. Good defender, and known for his prolific dunks. I expect 2O+ ppg from him in FIBA league or maybe more.

  18. MONEY!!!!!

He also set himself up to the 2010 free agent market...Very smart!!!!!

  19. duh more money and a starting role and a chance to be on a billboard.. wouldnt u do it if u knew u would be a sub par player in the nba and nothing more or a chance to be a star in a country payin you more with less taxes

  20. money is what makes the world go round

can i have the number 1 answer
