Why does Kate in "John & Kate + 8" see all kinds of flaws in John but cannot see her own much greater flaws?

She can be such a "b" I would volunteer to work overtime just to be away from her most of the time...but he does love the children.

She is stressed out.  When she gets stressed out she picks on John.  I have definitely noticed her do that.  Sometimes she can be such a cranky @$$ that I wonder how she could be so hurtful to him.  I know she probably doesn't mean it.  I know she's tired and all but she has to realize that she is starting to get toxic sometimes.  Good for her that John doesn't often retaliate.

hey i guess when people get stressed out they get irritable and all that stuff. She is quite mean to Jon and i feel really bad for him during the shows..but that's a good question and i'm not too sure about the answer..lol

they shuold just split up the kids 4 kids per person and rotate them like musical chairs so they can see all of them and so john doesnt have to deal with that crasy beeyotch

Those who think they are great only see others flaws. I watch the show every week day and can not stand how she freaks out so much. THOOO the one where she hired a house cleaner and she did not even dust the tv stand she had a right to complain. When you take on a job you should do it as you are told. But she is also tough on her kids but I see a reason for her to complain some times cause when you try to say no to a child and the other parent does not listen or trys to change what the other says it causes the child to not listen to the parents. They need to talk and come to a meeting.

It seems to be the angle of nearly every TV show on the air these days. The husband usually comes off as the dimwit and the woman as the strong, smart type, ie: 'Everybody Loves Raymond', King of Queens', etc.. Even 'Little People Big World' plays on Amy's strengths vs Matt's shortcomings. Kate is a typical type A personality and Jon is a type D.
