Why does Keith Olbermann say "Go Bills" after his show on MSNBC?

I recently found Keith Olbermann's podcast on iTunes and saw yesterday's episode and noticed that after he mentions "it's been the 1,112th (guessing) day since Mission Accomplished in Iraq" he said "Go Bills." I don't get to watch his show as much as I would like so I ask: Does he do this every episode? Does he mean the Buffalo Bills? If so I like him even more! haha

Thank You in advance

  1. Olbermann saying "Go Bills" is an homage to Tim Russert, a news colleague who died last week. Russert was from Buffalo and ended many of his broadcasts with that wish for his local team.

  2. He is carrying on a tradition started by the late great Tim Russert, who used to say "Go Bills" at the end of Meet the Press.

  3. A tribute to Tim Russert"s Favorite team!
