I'm trying to buy 3 "Great Stuff 12 Oz. Insulating Foam" bottles from Lowes.com which total to $16.05.

BUT when I click on Lowe's Delivery it says that it will cost me $103.01 with the tax of $7.96 and ***$79*** for delivery!!! (Hello?!) Isn't that the most expensive delivery price you have ever seen?

My closest store is in Brooklyn, NY while I live in Queens. Why does it cost like I'm delivering this to another planet?

  1. WOW!  I'd for sure pass on that deal!  Are there other shipping options?   That sounds like today delivery in a chauffeured limo!

Or maybe they're sending your insulating foam on a cruise first  lol  !

  2. You are paying for a huge truck to deliver small items. Buy it elsewhere.

  3. They have a minimum delivery fee..and it has nothing to do with the recent increase in gas..They have had this fee for a few years now....

  4. Have you checked the price of fuel lately? Them trucks only get 3 to 5 miles per. So do the math, fuel plus hourly wage for the driver.

  5. They are charging you to pay for the gas. I am afraid one day, we will use up all of our natural resources!
