They feed people bad foods, when they know it is bad for them, only to get a few dollars???

There is no point. People can be dying of heart attacks, and people there still only care about the $2 or so they are making?

  1. McDonalds does not make you buy their food.  People enjoy their food.  And people survive and support a family with the money they make (McDonalds).

  2. People should know to eat fast food in moderation. I like having a juicy burger every once in a while.

  3. They make million and millions of dollard...and they really don't care if people get sick....if you ate there only once in a while it would be fine...but no one forces anyone to eat anything...but I get your point...

  4. 95% of mass made food is bad for you.

Picking on McDonald's pretty lame. It's a great company, that truly does offer a flexible menu for people. It's a great American export.

The bigger problem we have is not looking into ways of making healthy foods less of a luxury. It takes considerable money to eat properly. And that's wrong.

  5. There are worst things than McDonald's. Like other's have said, no one forces you to eat it, it's your job to educate yourself as to whether it's good for you. McDonald's capitalizes on the concept that people want immediate, dramatic results without any work; we want our food fast and to taste amazing without having to make it ourselves and as cheap as it can be sold. Plus, they make a TON of money on their food. It might only cost you $2, but think of the hundreds of thousands of other people around the world who will buy a burger from McDonald's that same day. They make several billion dollars annually and with that kind of profit, they really don't have to think about how healthy it is for their customers because people buy it either way. They also employ tons of people worldwide which is good for economies everywhere.

  6. Although it's quite bad for McDonalds to be making unhealthy foods for people to eat, it really isn't up to them whether you decide to eat it or not. If you get a heart attack and die, it's mostly because of your own problem; you really shouldn't be eating more McDonalds when you are already at a stage where every time you gain weight you are one step closer to dying. So, McDonalds really shouldn't be selling junk food and such, but since everyone knows that what they are selling is absolute rubbish, whether you go and eat there, is really your own problem.

  7. more like 8 bucks and it adds up to millions people know what they are getting whne they go there you are an idiot

  8. mcdonals perpusly puts chemicals in the ingrediants to make ppl crave the food more, and they make more money.

ppl go there because they're addicted to the food, and want more.

  9. That's the whole mindset of the fast food industry. Most people know fast food is bad for them, but they eat it because they're hungry and looking for something cheap and convenient. It's not McDonald's that shoves the food down their throats, it's the people who wait in line to buy it.

  10. mcdonalds food aint that great tasting. ald aus, they now have the bagels and salads. people buy it coz its there. its the advertising that sells not the company. they just have better marketing then the other fast food chains. basically it is good if its in moderation not a necessity. if you want fatty hamburgers, go to the greasy joe on the corner, mcdonalds has 1 of the best health an safety programs in the world. the cleanest ice cream machines, grills.  its the small shops that dont clean often enough that are more dangerous. gimme a salad anyday, bu good for them for busines sense

  11. i believe the phrase " if it aint broke don't fix it " would cover your question. if theres people coming to buy the goods then mcdonalds is more than happy to sell the goods. now if people stopped coming in and they started losing money than they might change their policies and started selling different things or just close that location. =)

  12. How many companies sell things that are bad for the environment or our health i don't see their names listed just McDonald's. Why didn't you say Kentucky fried red rooster Hungry jacks, dun-kin donuts, Wendy's, the shop down the road that sells ice-cream to kids those killers. Why just Mcdonald's. Anyway the answer is they do it for money. The same reason people go to work MONEY!!!!!!!

  13. mc donalds does not force people to buy there food if you know it's bad for you don't eat there

  14. Why do people eat fatty food, when they know perfectly well that it is bad for their bodies, just because it's cheap?

  15. first of all there not forcing you to buy there food and its not only Macdonald's thats trying to fatten up the nation what about KFC or Hungary Jacks try and tell me there not as bad or even worse than Macdonald's

  16. all those people buying the food adds up.

and most people perfer fatty fooods bc/it just tastes better than healthy foods.

  17. well....why do people sell cigerates (sp?) when they know they're bad for you???

cause they want money...they dont care about your health....they care about $$$$$$$

but it is true that no one is forcing you to buy it...but its kinda hard wen its so dam good lol (no cigerates though..eww)...

you jus have to control yourself and eat it like once every couple months

but a lot of people eat at mcdonalds everyday...so ALLLL those $2 are adding to millions

  18. Its a business. You could what if this all day long, but its the individuals persons choice to eat there.

  19. Madison, let me explain to you the theory of business building - if you want to make a business, you provide people with what they want.  People want that yummy burger stuff and fries and chicken nuggets.  McDonald's sell it.  They make profit, business owners/stock holders/etc make money.  They're not your educators.  It is YOUR reponsibility to educate yourself, not McDonald's.

I know that McDonald's is not the healthiest stuff out there, but I CHOOSE to eat it still because I LOVE the taste of it.  I don't eat it all day everyday, of course - because I'm smart enough not to shove all that fatty processed stuff down my esophagus everyday.  It's the same as a cigarette.  You can ask any cigarette smoker out there and they'll tell you, yes, they know it's bad for them... but they still smoke it anyway!  So, of course, Marlboro will sell it to them!

They're in the business of making money.  That's their job.   It's not their job to watch what you eat.  That's YOUR job.
