Why does Method & Seventh Generation cleaners attract bugs?

Okay, in the winter, Loved these products.

Summer ... buggs appear around the bottles like frat boys at a keg party ... WTF???

  1. These products are made with biodegradable ingredients!  So, unlike conventional detergents, seventh generation products are composed primarily of organic material.  Bugs and other little critters can use the organic material as an energy source.  Try to keep the bottles free of detergent splashes and you shouldn't have a problem.
