  1. The content on my page out of date.

If you've left your browser open to My Yahoo! and haven't touched it, the news and stock quotes may not be the latest available. Here are some ways you can update this information:

    a. Click the "Reload/Refresh" button in your browser.

    or

    b. Set My Yahoo! to automatically refresh your page:

At the top of your My Yahoo! page, click the Select Page drop-down menu, select Add/Delete Page.

Scroll down to the Options section, locate the Refresh Rate menu.

Select the rate at which you want your content to update.

Next time you leave your browser open to My Yahoo!, you'll see that it updates the page automatically.

You may also want to clear your browser's cache file. Please consult your browser help section for more information on how this is done.

  2. My opinion only but I expect it's because Yahoo! isn't actively maintaining their older tools and functions.  They appear to be constantly evolving their products and, in so doing, are not actively maintaining their older utilities such as My Yahoo!.

If you go to use the Mail Beta and access the news via the homepage there, I expect you'll find that all of the news is up to date.

  3. This is a weird one.... I have friends where it is a constant thing. Others it happens one day and not the next. The only solution I've come up with is to clear my cache and cookies and log in again... sometimes Iit's A-OK... sometimes it's the same.
