I told Him that I grow My own, but yet He continues to bring them over. I bet He's just trying to show Me how large His is. Any thoughts?

  1. Funny..My neighbor brings me flowers but she is 80 so I think she comes over for the conversation too...Maybe you need to take him over some of your cukes.. and then plainly state that you just have sooo many that you thought you'd bring him some.

  2. dont flatter yourself...maybe he's just being friendly and has grown more than he can use...maybe you have more friends to give them to than he does...

  3. Because they are being neighborly and they must like you. They may also have an abundant crop of cucumbers.

  4. Hi this is your neighbor if I known you didnt like my cucumbers I would had brought you bananas. But I will next time dont worry

  5. He knows how quickly you can go through yours.  He is being nice.  Plus, I loaned him some binoculars that I found outside by my tree.  I still have the flute :- )

  6. He probably likes you and is trying come up with an excuse to come over and see you.   Maybe he's just trying to break the ice.

  7. LOL Maybe he is trying to start an over production exchange.  We have it in our neighborhood.  Whenever we over produce veggies, citrus, fruit, avocado we bring it over to a neighbor in hopes that they will bring over what they have in a bountiful harvest.  So, simply take the excess to another neighbor to share if you cannot use them yourself.  (I get a lot of lemons and limes, though I grow them too.  Mine are small, so I keep the neighbors, freeze the zest and some of the juice and share the excess with everyone from the mail person, to the housekeeper, to the trash guy to other neighbors.)
