  1. The same reason they make promises to the fans here in Atlanta, and dont follow them

Thanks alot Bruton for the warm gesture[labor day race]

We thought you was our friend buddy!

    What happened

  2. Because it's run like a mom and pop operation. I'm surprised they don't up ticket money using cigar boxes. France is killing NASCAR. And he's too arrogant and far to stupid to realize it.

  3. you had the answer to your question the whole time , then you try and find a rule book, no luck there, so you got it in a nut shell, the rules if that is what you want to call them are more or less play as you go rules to suit the whims of NASCAR

  4. because NASCAR has 2 1/2 miles of racing surface to cover instead of 50 yards of football field.

  5. because they can

  6. Once again, I agree with G.B.

  7. We have all been trying to figure that out for years.  The "gray area" seems to grow and grow at times...

    Go Jr.>>>>

  8. They don't use pen when they write the rules because the teams are always going to be one step ahead. NASCAR has to reserve the right to change rules as they see fit at a moments notice in order to keep up with the men like Chad Knaus who are geniuses in the garage.

Also, if they were steadfast about rules fans might be upset when thier favorite drivers are nailed with stiff penalties or penalties that knock someone out of the chase or championship contention.

  9. I have been asking that question for years and is my biggest issue with the sanctioning body.

  10. Because if they don't then Dale Jr fans would get upset

  11. They have to keep changing the rules so Toyota can win.  Gotta keep the foreign car make happy so more will come.

  12. they do as they please

just like you and these stupid questions

  13. Because Nascar wants to be able to tweak things as they go.  Remember, Nascar is entertainment disguised as sport.  Nascar is far more concerned with viewership than they are properly deciding a champion.  If you want to watch a racing series thats run like a sport through and through, watch F1.

  14. And that is why you can't get your hands on a rule book if your life depended on it. If everyone had one then you could see exactly just how much they break their own rules. I asked a question on this a few weeks ago to see if anyone knew a logical reason to why it isn't released to the public. Sadly I think the rules are based on what ever mood Mike Helton happens to be in on that day.
