Some Nations have a sign explaining that they have a deal with the health dept. It is right next to the register, on the pie case.  The gist of it is this:  There will be no sales tax on  half or whole pies if they are packaged for consumption off the premises.  I realize this is strange and weird, but that is what the sign says.
