Why can't he spend it with his own people in South Africa or is he having a party here too?

  1. I was wondering that too actually, well I suppose the old toppie is entitled to have a holiday on his birthday!!!

  2. Because its safer there and more famous people that can come to his party!!!!! It is a bit strange though since he`s like the big fighter for freedom or whatever in South Africa

  3. He doesn't care for his own people after all.  And only interested in his own welfare. The old terrorist.

  4. He wants to see the Spice Girls

  5. Because he can raise more money for the children's fund over there.

    Ignore the person above.

  6. He wants more expensive presents.........

  7. Because if he celebrated it here in SA - then the world media would cover the concert and will report on how certain Africans found a good excuse to burn half the stadium down, stabbed their "fellow Africans", were arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour and why the organising of the concert was such a disaster etc. and he may be asked if he is proud of his people and the way they behave themselves...

Best do it in the UK where he is safe!!!

  8. WHO SAID HE'S NOT CELEBRATING IT IN SA? What you read is that people with more money are staging a concert in his honour and the money will be used for Nelson Mandela Children's Fund. The fatc that he is going there as part of celebrating his birthday should be applauded, instead of people making a mockery about it.

  9. he has moved up, he has more quality of friends there that can meet up to his standards, they probably appreciate him more, face it they are smarter, richer, famous and better looking.

  10. Having an expensive major p**s-up will look less obscene in Europe than in Africa where there are so many people living hand-to-mouth - especially now in SA, thanks to his political party.

  11. With a bit of luck they will get so pissed they will throw him in the Thames and only find him tomorrow.

  12. He is clearly on a mission of deceit to divert attention away from the f*ck up the ANC is making of South Africa and Zimbabwe and probably hopes that some "marketing" will prevent FIFA from taking the 2010 World Cup away from South Africa which is likely after the recent Xenophobic attacks as well as the country being far behind schedule on construction of virtually all stadia and transportation planning.

  13. He hates the way the country went, and would'nt want to be embarressed when all the celebs get robbed in the greenroom/BACKSTAGE in SA
