Its not just when he`s winning, its when he`s losing too. Its really annoying, i appreciate the tennis he brings to the game and he`s a worthy #3 however he just irritates the h**l outta me haha!!! He`s constantly smirking, grinning whatever u wanna call it lol Anyone agree?

Because unlike Nadal he knows he can win on any given day against any opponent.  It's just up to him to stay awake during the match, which I'm disappointed to say he didn't today.  I swear I saw him snoring on a couple of those points!  Oh and the James Blake comment; I love him he's my second favorite player on tour, but his losses say it all...  Egos drive great players, without that drive they're merely playing a game...

Lol yeh ino what you mean ....im not to sure about novak...have you seen the impressions he does of all the other players?? He takes th p**s out of all the other players yet hes not so perfect himself in that dodgy orange nd blue outfit....Hes defininatly not as professional and kind as Rafa.

zztopspin i am sure all tenis players have egos, but perhaps none so big as djokovic. if u read one word of james blakes autobiography i think u would realise he is a very very humble man, perhaps the only athlete to realise that 'god doesnt care about a game of tennis'. federer and nadal have egos for sure, but not like djokovic. djokovic has an ego that shows on and off court- from his false modesty to his ridiculous comments.

Novak thinks very, very highly of himself.  I was a fan and then he showed how arrogant he was.  The things started flowing out of his mouth and I was turned off.

Deep inside, every tennis player is just as arrogant as he is.  It's the fact.  Even the stoic Davydenko who doesn't show one bit of emotion on court has a smirk deep down inside him.  You can't succeed in tennis without a giant ego.  It's the fact.  Just ask any professional tennis player.
