their own Car and their Insurance and gas, I was wondering if people know this? And why the store charges it, In Canada I do not think its fair, They are making extra money from their Drivers are at the risk to deliver on time, and some people think the Driver gets the $3.00 so the store wins all the way. I would like to know how many people know this, It was news to me. And I will always make sure I tip the person good. But I wish the Delivery Fee would go to the Driver that deserves it, not the store.

  1. The companies charge a delivery fee for the privilege of providing that service.

It helps them cover the costs of insurance and the extra staff they have to keep on hand for the luxury of having someone bring it to your door.

The drivers really rely on the tips that customers give them to make their living.

Don't blame the delivery charge on the driver.

If you (or others) don't want to pay the fee, then go pick it up yourself.

  2. My  boyfriend used to work as a pizza delivery guy in BC. That $3.00 they charge WAS his wage per delivery ($5.00 for farther ones)+ tips.  He did not get paid by the hour.

  3. I didn't know that Pizza Pizza did that either, just another ploy to make more money off of unsupecting customers.

  4. YOUR SO RIGHT! THE PIZZA PLACE IS SO VERY GREEDY! I ALWAYS TIP THE MAN AT THE DOOR TOO.

  5. to get more money
