Why does President Bush look somewhat silly now?

Six years ago he stated "If any nation is attacked the USA will be there to help push the aggressor out". So where was the USA military when Russia invaded Georgia?

We are running out of money,Iraq has a us pretty well drained and Bush just keeps on throwing more tax dollars away.

Our Pres has not had a handle on things since Jan 20, 2001.  This is typical of the entire administration from start to finish.  Luckily, come Jan 20, 2009 there will be someone else, anyone else, running the White House.

Well, first off, Georgia was the aggressor who attacked South Ossetia. Russia responded with over the top force, but did not start it. Second, maybe Russia had evidence that Georgia had weapons of mass destruction? (Sorry, but I almost choked when Bush said there was no valid reason for Russia to invade.)

You may recall Serbia invaded Kosovo for the same reasons as Georgia invaded Ossetia and the US attacked Serbia. (Cover to distract the US public from Clinton's perjury.) US policy is stupid and inconsistent. We should support the side that is in the best interest of the US. I'm not sure supporting Georgia is in our best interest. Bush should make a case first and it had better not be as thread bare as "supporting democracy". Russia is a democracy too.

According to your friends American's are there, but, that isn't the only way to punish a tyrant like Stalin, Hitler or Putin.

I keep thinking back to how he "looked in to Vladmir Putin's soul, etc"  Apparently, he didn't get that good of a look.
