its not only them but radio is run by men. by that i mean its a very hard career for a woman to get into. and very few women actually make it big in radio. men dominate it. i actually think men are better and id rather listen to men broadcaster myself (and im a girl). this is sad because i am making radio my career hah. so hopefully ill slip through the cracks and make it big as a woman in radio  :)
