Michelle doesn't look like a defensive tackle.  She looks like the loving wife and caring mother she is, which is more than I can say for Palin.

You're comparing a politician, somebody who has to look good and professional, with a politician's wife, somebody who it is nobody's business what she looks like or does.

Bingo. You've hit on the difference between someone with love as her base in life (Palin) and someone with hate and rage as her base in life (Michelle).

That's why voters are rallying around Palin. We know her daughter screwed up. But that family is based on love. Love of God, love of each other, love of country. You can see it.
