Why does Sarah Palin say that paved roads do no good?

If ....if everyone isn't Christian? Aren't paved roads good things independent of religious belief?

"I can do my job there in developing our natural resources and doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded," she added. "But really all of that stuff doesn't do any good if the people of Alaska's heart isn't right with God."

The guy above is a t*t. The founding fathers didnt put "god" on the money. "In god we trust" never appeared on a coin til 1864, and wasnt adopted as the national motto til 1956. Pretty pathetic history lesson you've given here. And even if they had, what the h**l does that mean? All christians have the right to impose their will on everyone else in this country? Seriously? Who the **** do you nuts think you are, anyway?

It would be nice to have, in my lifetime, a leader who didn't think it was his job to carry out his gods will. Last I checked the presidents job was to carry out the will of the PEOPLE, not the god hes chosen to worship.

She has faith in God. Oh no, is that a crime? She has every right even as a public servant to voice her opinion about her God and what she feels is best for the people she governs.

Most of you lib's couldn't handle the endless references to God by our founding fathers. They put God's name on our money, our buildings, our monuments. They knew that trust in someone or something higher than themselves must be in place in order for good government to go forward. If you don't believe in God or don't like God or don't like Christians, then start hating the founding fathers as well. Otherwise, shutup and let Palin reference God all she wants. Its her right.
