Why does Satan punish people?

Why is it that Satan punishes people for sin? What does He get out of it? If He is the master of all sin and wants us to sin then why wouldn't He reward us in the afterlife for sinning so much? Wouldn't our sinning make Him happy?

Satan doesn't punish you, he torments your soul. In doing this he takes energy from you. Just as God receives energy from those that worship him. That's why those that believe in neither only have their energy stolen from other humans.

of course it makes him happy but he's not looking to reward anyone...hes looking to see how many ppl he can deceive to take to h**l w/him.....besides he is not going to give special treatment to anyone in the afterlife if he himself w/be tortured(there is an appointed time for him too)

Satan is the caretaker of his domain and he is only carrying out orders which get assigned to him. You create the sins and the punishment accredited to it will be executed by him so indirectly he does what is written in the rule book.

i also belive there is no heaven or h**l just a story to make people be good... but if there is but if there is not that religious but this is what i believe satan isnt bad or any thing but before we all die everyone is a sinner and satan is here to make us pure before we go to heaven other would take longer than other. satan is also testing every human when they are given chances for example if you a guy come to you with a gun and tells you to kill this guy and if you dont h**l shoot you satan would have more respect for you if you try to take the gun and kill the guy telling you to do this or let him shoot you but satan respects the strong people not cowards and when satan thinks you you are ready to go somewhere else when you pay you dept he sends you on....and in the after life the way he rewards up is by making us work for him in uncomfortably conditions.

First of all Satan is Lucifer a fallen Angel of God. The punishing...welll we do that all on our own, it's just easier to have something to blame for our poor decisions and bad actions.

Satan does not punish people for sin. If he were to do it, then it would be a house divided among itself.

There is no afterlife for all those who have given themselves up to Satan's service and Satan cannot give anybody any reward except entice them in this present world under his perishing control to sin and get h**l as a reward

Yeah, Satan doesn't punish according to Christian beliefs.

God is the only power, he his punishing you.  Satan is just the big guy in h**l.

The Devil Exploits Man’s Inherent Need

The Devil has observed humans since the creation of mankind. He knows man’s makeup—his needs, his interests, and his desires. Satan is well-aware that man was created with a spiritual need, and the Devil has cleverly exploited this need. How? By feeding mankind religious untruths. (John 8:44) Many religious teachings about God are contradictory and confusing. Whose purpose do you think this serves? Contradictory teachings cannot all be true. Is it not possible, then, that many religious teachings are expressly designed and used by Satan to misguide people? In fact, the Bible refers to him as “the god of this system of things,” who has blinded people’s minds.—2 Corinthians 4:4.

Sin is a consequence of disobedience not a punishment from Satan. Our first parents were disobedient.Thus sin entered into the world and death because of sin spread. (Romans 5:12) Our disobedience makes Satan happy, because it means opposition to God. Misery loves company.

Satan wanted to be the ruler of Heaven and earth as a dictator. His plan was to force all wo/men to heaven; this is when he and 1/3 of the hosts of heaven were cast out of God's site to NEVER have a body.

Why would a brooding, evil creature want anyone to be happy? Or be happy with anything they did?

the Bible says that the devil (satan) came to steal, kill and destroy. Satan was punished by GOD because of the sin of pride and satan(also called lucifer) wanted to become higher than GOD.Our sinning will surely make him happy because that is what he really wants to happen that later on he will have as many people as he can to join him in h**l (eternal damnation).

Satan doesn't punish people.  He deceives people to believe things, like there is no h**l, no Heaven, no God and no Satan.  Satan HATES people and wants all of them to deny God and die, go to h**l, where they can be tortured eternally.  His whole purpose is to prove to God that his creation of humans was a big mistake and we all would be found unworthy of God's grace and mercy.

Satan was a good devil, he worshiped God, that's why he was up there with the angels, but after the incident

(Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?"

(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."

(Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed.

"And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment."

(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."

(Allah) said: "Respite is granted thee"

"Till the Day of the Time appointed."

(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)."

(Allah) said: "This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me.

"For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."

And verily, h**l is the promised abode for them all!

To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned.
