  1. I am presuming that you are joking, if not your suggestion is rather barbaric

  2. I expect you think Hitler was misunderstood

  3. Because of leftie, wimps like you that's why.

They should be drowned at birth, not kept alive for burnings.

    .

  4. Some of them turn out to be innocent, you know. The Criminal Justice system makes lots of mistakes. What if you were one of the mistakes?

Also, some people confess. How can you get people to turn themselves in if they have to be that afraid to the punishment?

  5. Executing thieves and fraudsters is.... excessive to say the least. Here's why it doesn't work:

    1. You run into enough instances of faulty convictions with the current set of capital crimes. If you throw every thief onto death-row, then the number is going to increase exponentially.

    2. The expense of capital punishment comes largely from the appeals that ensue. We don't want to execute innocent people, so we cannot simply get rid of the appeals process.

    3. Nothing says that the specter of punishment is enough to deter thieves. No one WANTS to go to jail, and so no one who commits crime is doing so with the idea that they're going to be caught. The idea of punishment as a deterrent is not one that has a demonstrable basis.

So, it's not cheaper, a lot of innocent people will die, and there's no basis for believing that it would be a deterrent.

  6. Lets start with the poster, he'd be happier in h**l anyway.

  7. You sound like the ghastly Klu Klux Klan

  8. you sad basta*d
