  1. If I travel to South America, I need a passport and usually a visa, which is difficult to obtain in some countries.  Why shouldn't people need a passport to travel from one continent to another????

Now, needing one to travel between Canada and the US and Mexico and the US is a new thing, and I might be able to understand how that could be frustrating for people who have traveled back and forth regularly, but come on, it is not difficult to get a passport.  American passports are more expensive than many other countries.

  2. Why wouldn't they need a passport?  We pretty much all do if we wish to travel to another country.

  3. You don't.  Unless you want to go to another country of course.  Now, if you are asking what other folks are assuming, "why do South Americans need a passport to travel to the United States" its obvious, SA are foreign nationals, they are not U.S. citizens, so they are no different than Canadians, Europeans, etc.  SA is not part of the U.S., why WOULDN'T you need a passport?

  4. Hunny!! what are you asking? there is no such thing south america..that's region not a country and do you know what's the diference between a passport and a visa? u should start asking that...good luck

  5. everybody needs a passport . why would the south american people be any different. They are from countries with a different government after all and not all of them are friendly.
