Next reporter should ask him why his players continue to take hits after the whistle, or as why Hal Gill took out Homer on a VERY CHEAP interference. That wasn't called. Ask him about that. Ask him why his players took many cheap shots in Game 2. SHUT THE **** UP YOU WHINY LITTLE *****. You are just cheapening your team and making them look like whiny little 2-year olds.

Gonchar? I dont know about that. Mentioning where you think a REF made a mistake, then moving on..... Like Babcock does... is totally different than whining to try and get calls. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Did I mention whining even when he isnt asked about it?

Therrien is showing that he cant coach and make the adjustments against an elite team (SO FAR) so he has resorted to trying to draw Power Plays so that his team has an equal advantage! If you cant see that, TAKE OFF THE HOMER GLASSES!

Well, he played a factor into the Penguins first two losses.  Not just any losses--- shut outs.  Other then that, Detroit is doing well in keeping their offense out of their own zone.

Although complaining gets annoying to us fans, it does prove to be effective. It turns into that little birdie in the ear of the refs.

Example: Stars kept complaining about Holmstrom crowding Turco, and it eventually resulted in a bad no goal call.

While it may work from time to time - See Dallas, as the previous poster said - it still is trashy, especially from the head coach in the Stanley Cup Finals.  He's basically excusing his players for their bad play in the first two games.  He's saying they are doing their best, but it is the refs causing them to give up goals, which is obviously not the case.

i think that therrian handled the situation of getting shut out 2 games in a row terribly, blaming the refs is such a childish thing to do, with a young team, you have to lead the team extremely well and really set an example, and blaming the refs was just immature.  i see where crosby gets his nonsense from.  as a coach you have to look at what your team could have done, not what the refs did/didnt call or what the other team did.
