time is relative to your age. If you were only a few years old, a day would seem a longer time as it is a greater proportion of your life. and therefore seems a lot longer when compared to your lifetime. The older you are, the shorter a day is in relation to your lifetime, which is what our body compares it to. so time will seem to go faster as you get older.

Because it's a killjoy. When you're having fun and you want it to slow down to enjoy the moment, it goes fast. When you want it to speed up, then it will slow down. How ironic.
