Amy Winehouse cannot attend the Grammy Awards because her request for a visa has been turned down by the U.S. Embassy.

Shouldn't the world know why this is so?

  1. The U.S doesn't need any more crack heads roaming the streets

  2. She's too big a risk, her behavior is notorious.  We have a lot of junkies and users to contend with already.

  3. She's a convicted narcotics violator. That makes her ineligible for a visa.  She only recently screwed up, making it more and more difficult to give her a waiver right away.  If she cleans up her act, she may one day get a waiver. But it's too soon for this particular grammy awards.

Think the world *doesn't* know?  It's right there in wikipedia.

S'all right, we all need a cause to work for.  But this isn't about you trying to open closed-minded eyes, it's about a girl who's not able to control her addiction.

  4. Hmmmmm maybe cuz she's an addict and a drunk?

Not sure why!  She's such a positive role model for the minds of children right?

  5. Probably because she's a crackhead...

  6. I Love Amy but she screwed herself royaly on this one

what an amazing opportunity she has blown

still, they say she will perform via satelite link

suppose it's something, but frankly, i really dont blame the US for denying her, if it was a normal person they wouldn't have even gottne this far.

    still, talented girl

  7. She has been arrested and convicted of drugs possesion in, Norway on a drugs charge.

    Its her own fault.

America have done this, to set an example to other users as a warning.

  8. I would assume owing to some drug violations in her homeland or injudicious comments made against the US

  9. she is a crack w***e?
