  1. I like the new paint scheme. I think it's neat.

  2. United in it's livery has been struggling to find a distinctive livery every since they first changed from it's 60s all white, with red and blue cheat line and the red and blue double U or "tulip" logo. .

When they redesigned with the blue grey fuselage I didn't like the striped two toned blue background on the tail.  It just didn't seem to belong with the rest of the design.

I actually prefer the cleaner white look of the new livery, although for an airline named United the two toned pastel blue seems less patriotic than their last mostly white livery.  See below.

  3. I remember when the first changed to the grey. Alot of pilots were complaining that it was difficult to spot them on a cloudy/overcast day while airborne. I myself, thought that they were less noticeable until i got used to them.

  4. I guess that would fall into the category of personal opinion, and personally, I like the white over blue paint job, the gray and blue was too dark for me.  They aren't the only ones either, Delta is actually "re-branding" its aircraft including the logo.  They are all trying to get your attention.
