Why does Walgreens have a flashing strobe light on the side of their building?

I noticed this last night at the local walgreens and I have seen it at other ones before

I am wondering if it is a camera that is taking pictures every few seconds.  I didn't notice it at our walgreens until they were robbed and they didn't catch who did it.  Then I started noticing that light.

LOL.  Ive never seen a walgreens with a strobe light but one forth of july, this fireworks tent had this annoying strobe light that distracted everyone that drove by.  They just do that for attention.  Putting a strobe light in front of a building and trying not to notice is a hard thing to do.

Not sure, its another one of those stupid, yet unnecessary things that drug stores need to attract people.

That's a special "Idiot Alert" box, which only goes off when an idiot is within 15 feet.

If one is always blinking when you walk by.....well.....there's your sign.

It's because Walgreens has  been getting robbed more and more lately because people want the pills that they have. If they put a big flashy light on the building people will know that they are on camera and hopefully they won't rob them.
