Why does Windows Media Player close on me when I try to sync music to my iPod Nano?

My computer does not have enough memory or GB space to store iTunes, so I found a program called MGTEK dopisp that changes your music files on WMP so you can sync them to an iPod. It does a few artists (like Angels & Airwaves), but every time I try to put one, like Fall Out Boy, it starts too but then a box comes up that says "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem. It need to shut down" more or less. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Help me fix it?

I've already looked at the WMP site, and the site for the MGTEK dopisp program, but they didn't help any =(

  1. You can try a different media player program that works better with iPods.  Media Monkey is a smaller download than iTunes and will sync with iPods.  Windows Media Player doesn't really work with the iPod.  It says the iTunes download is 48MB, and the Media Monkey program only takes up 30MB on my hard drive.  Don't know if that will work any better for you, but it's worth a try.  Or there is Winamp which will also sync with iPods.  It is an even smaller download, only 10.8MB according to their website for the full version.   Perhaps check that out.

  2. Delete some things so you can download i tunes

Delete things you think you don't or won't need anymore

  3. try to manually put songs on set the ipod to manual or if it already is set it to auto sync evry time

  4. Apple products kinda suck...

  5. WMP doesn't like iPod.  More anti-competitive practices from M$.
